Booking the car and collecting the car was all straight forward.There is only two in our party but we hire a full size car to accommodate our luggage and a premium model to get all the toys. On the negative side, we had no choice on collecting,the car had been well used and had a few bumps and bruises but it did the job with no problems.

No problems at all, car rental much less expensive if you are a tourist visiting USA (foreign nationality).

The car did not appear to have been cleaned properly. The interior had items left from the previous owners. The outside had not been washed properly. There was bugs splattered on the front of the vehicle. The check in was a desk at a hotel near to Tampa Port. The check-in staff did their best but process was slow, the staff apologised and were otherwise friendly and polite. I expected a choice of vehicles similar to what happens at Tampa Airport. It was made clear that there was no choice, as all Alamo vehicles were out on hire. This was confirmed when potential customers phoning the desk were being told that no hire vehicles either there at Tampa Airport.

Quick and easy car collection and drop off. Ample staff at Alamo so didn't use the self service computer. No hard sell to get us to upgrade. On finding no compact cars in row we were immediately offered a full size. Will definitely use uscarhire from now on.

on arrival at the desk I was pestered with repeated requests to upgrade to an Escalade which I eventually fell for at an extra cost of $1,350 if my memory serves me, included in that figure was a additional driver which I thought was included in my original package? well we got the car (very nice) but no AC the GPS was wildly of the mark and the phone pairing was malfunctioning, I informed the girl at the returns and she said she would get me a$130/$180 discount for my trouble, I will be more determined next time to stick to the original deal, other than that great.

could not fault the service offered by uscarhire and alamo, the only thing that does not make it a 5 is we had a slight accident with a parked car, the road was double parked and my daughter in law clipped their door mirror and broke it, our vehicle was undamaged, thankfully we took out the gold option insurance so hope we dont have any problems from this

For a frw years now i have EXCLUSIVELY hited from Alamo through uscarhire. The experience has never changed. It has been perfectly excellent every single time!

As usual, we had no issues what so ever. First class carhire company and were not pressurised to take upgrades etc. The car we were given was almost brand new, very clean and tidy. Will definitely use again.

I used the kiosk at Tampa airport with no problems, although I had to put in the same information again as I had already entered when I booked it but at least it didn't try to sell me an upgrade! There was no car of our type in the car park but the staff quickly got one from another car park. I was very happy with the car as it never missed a beat for the 1860 miles we drove. Check in went without a hitch. All in all I was very happy with the experience.

Everything worked ok, and as expected. Alamo tried to sell us extras we already had, as you warned us about. Picking up and delivery went smooth. Was first a little disappointed that we did not get an American car, but the car we got was very good, powerful and nice, and I have a Nissan myself, so I was familiar with instruments etc.
