I had chosen the kiosk collection with Alamo but had problems with it as the other driver had forgot his licence a supervisor called Lealand noticed that we had a problem an did his utmost to sort it out and speed up the car collection without him we would have been lost all in all the experience I had fom USCAR Hire and Alamo was very positive and I would use bothe the next time I rent a car

The Alamo rep was quite rude stating they only work for US licence holders. I explained that I had been trying for 20 mins and that I was not very happy about it he just dismissed me and tried to sell me $260 worth of extras that I did not need, ie bigger car, more insurance ect. I will use your company again however my steer clear of Alamo.

When we got to the Alamo desk at the airport the salesman tried pushing us into additional insurance and upgrading the car, saying the one we had paid for wouldn't be big enough for us. I insisted that it was larger than the one we own and managed to get our luggage in that back home. Apart from that we had a great car rental experience. We have never hired a car overseas before but we would definitely do it again and would have no hesitation using US Car Hire.

Everything was ready when we arrived, just had to hire additional car seats for the children which we knew had to be done on arrival anyway. Collecting the car took no time at all, we were shown where to go and we were soon on our way. Dropping the car off was also really easy and took no time at all.

Luxury 4 Door (LDAR) Miami International Airport (MIA) on 17 Jul 2013 Customer rating: Customer name: Name withheld by request Vehicle supplied: Lincoln Navigator Book a car at this location I was "convinced" to accept an upgrade, from a Cadillac to a Lincoln Navigator, additional USD 30.00/day. I accepted, and gave my AMEX card for the difference. Now, Alamo is charging me the WHOLE value of the contract. Not your fault, it is Alamo´s fault.

Not sure if it was my fault or the system. I will try again next time.
