We mentioned that the cars appeared to be older than a few years back and so the receptionist went through and found us a new one with next to no miles on the clock.

Only disadvantage was having to return car to Orlando Airport. This wouldnt have been an issue if i had been returning home. Howver, i still had few days of holiday and Alamo only had pickup desks in a few hotels in Orlando area but no drop-off desks.

It was not a pleasent experience a bit threatening. We had gold cover and after a quick email to US car hire we were reassured about our cover.
