The very bad relates to Alamo. The automatic machine would again not accept my driving licence number even when input by the Alamo Rep. Unfortunately I did not check, until to late, the document then prepared by the Rep and was unknowingly duped into paying for insurance I did not want or really need. I accept this was my fault for not checking properly at the time but it reflects badly on Alamo who clearly are trying cheat customers. It will hopefully backfire on them and their Reps in the near future.

Picking up the car was a breeze and the staff kindly pointed me in the right direction. I ended up having to keep the car an extra day and making the change was also hassle free.

Book a car at this location Chose the wrong car, should have chosen Chevy Captiva which we have had before and was great. Chose the jeep for a change, very basic. That said, very smooth car hire experience as is always the case with this site.

The desk staff at the pick up were a disgrace to ALAMO. HIS name was Percy and not only the normal upgrade patter but he LIED, telling us we had to upgrade to Premium to get an Impala and we said no thanks, but when we went to collect the car the Impala was available in the full size range. Therefore we got one. Alamo train your staff better!

The staff were friendly and helpful and we got on our way happily

The pricing structure is simple to understand and your statement that "you will not be asked for additional charges" at the point of pick up once again was spot on. At the pick up there was a limited selection of SUVs and I was only too pleased to accept their offer of an upgrade. The car was excellent and we had a trouble free trip. Thank you.

Loved not having to wait in line or being persuaded to upgrade after a long flight. Picking our own car to fit our kids carseats and comfort was wonderful and getting out the airport was a breeze.
