Rented a Dodge Grand Caravan from Alamo with additional Gps unit at Orlando Int Airport. Unfortunately I was given the incorrect charger cable for the unit so I had to make a 30 mile trip to another Alamo office to get it replaced. The car was fab. The GPS unit problem sucked!

Happy with service from Alamo. Only negative comment was that the first car seemed to have a fault or not been serviced properly, and a warning light came on. This meant that it had to get replaced, and we had to waste an afternoon waiting for a replacement car to be brought

It's hard to take luggage from the car return area to the terminal. Some assistance or trolleys would be a help.

I could not complete the alamo preorder details online to do rapid pick up. They would not accept a Uk postcode. Wasted 30 min waiting to process order at desk in airport.

We had a bit of a disaster with our original rental due to them requiring a large security deposit which we couldn't cover. We ended up having to rebook on-line after being stuck at the airport for 4 hours. It was very straightforward once booked and we were finally on our way 10 minutes after booking. Big thumbs up - would definitely use again.

No issue with customer service, although I didn't think much of the vehicle we hired ... Although it was my choice, I certainly wouldn't hire a Chevrolet again. That aside, everything was straight forward and well organised.

WHEN I WAS TO GET THE RENTED CAR, THERE WERE NONE , SO THE GUY IN CHARGE SAID THAT WE COULD TAKE ANY CAR FROM A NOTHER LINE BECAUSE THERE NO MORE LIKE THE ONE WE RENTED, AND WHEN WE RETURNED THE CAR THEY CHARGE ME 126 DLLS FOR THE BIGGER CAR. CHIP SHOT FROM ALAMO. BECAUSE THEY NEVER SAID TO ME THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE AN EXTRA COST FOR IT. BE WARE OF THIS DIRTY TRICK.

All my pre order enquires were handled prompt and efficiently by US Car Hire, who as usual were excellent. Unfortunately, as always, we had to go through the usual 'hard-sell' that customers experience at the Alamo Desk at Orlando Airport, when their sales reps press you to upgrade the car you've already paid for; also to take road-side assistance; and pay for a full tank of petro on return. It's all really annoying and time-taking, when you are tired after a long flight, but we didn't allow ourselves to be brow-beaten. The airport reception experience, is however the only criticism of Alamo, who offer an excellent selection of good, clean cars.

This was the first time we have flown into Tampa in many years. Whilst the choice of cars was much smaller than Orlando the whole process was very quick and very simple. The staff in the garage were very helpful.
