Very positive experience. All aspects of the hire process ran smoothly. We arrived off the plane and entered our reservation details at the Alamo kiosk which printed us out the rental agreement. We picked up a GPS from the Alamo desk then were allowed to pick which car we wanted from the lot. On exiting the lot our rental agreement was checked then we were free to go. At the end of our holiday we returned the car the staff saw we had a fully inclusive package so they just took the keys and we were on our way.

From the moment I booked the car, I knew there would be no issues. a problem with my airline occurred, meaning flight changes, but this was sorted out, prior to arriving. I have used "Alamo" seven or eight times now & have never had a problem

The car was fine, the service was good. The two problems I had was when I tried to use the pre arranged queue jumping service, the machine would not accept my credit card and therefore I had to queue for my car with everyone else (it was the same card I used to make the booking). The other problem was before I arrived in the US I received 2 reminder emails offering me a final chance to amend/cancel my booking. As we were taking a wheelchair, which I was unaware of at the time of booking the car, I wanted to upgrade the car to a slightly larger one to accommodate the chair. However I was not able to do this by following the links on the email or directly on the website., This led me to inquire why I could not amend the booking, so when I checked the cost of booking the same car for the same period of time it was nearly £100 less. Its obvious that the reason I couldn't cancel was to prevent me re-booking and saving nearly £100. I made my booking 4 months in advance yet if I had booked it the weekend before I went to the US I would have save a third of the price. NOT HAPPY.

Everything went very smoothly and quickly, from the Alamo kiosk at the airport through to choosing our car in the garage. The car was fairly new clean and tidy. Easy experience on return also. No surprise charges everything was as we expected. Very content with the whole process.

No complaints about the vehicle, however,I have some complaints on the service when initially collecting the vehicle from Orlando International airport, these being; 1) the person who dealt with me was extremely pushy and tried to sell me a) Roadside Insurance b) a bigger more expensive vehicle and told me that the vehicle that I'd ordered wasn't going to be big enough for my needs. he was very insistent, thankfully I understood my requirements and declined the over zelous sales tactics, someone with less confidence or experience may have paid extra for these, the vehicle was more than adequate!! 2) the guy also initially tried not to provide me with a GPS and needed 'reminding' that this was part of the deal and had been prepaid! 3) the fuel charge was extortianate, I filled up for around $40, you charged me well over $60! why??

Site was straight forward and easy to use. Prompt reply to emails with all information requested provided. Busy at Alamo desk at Orlando airport on arrival but plenty of staff prevented a long wait. Nice new vehicle which was clean and roomy with no issues during 2 week rental. Slow during return process but several vehicles had arrived at a similar time.

very disappointed when i returned home and alamo had taken another 137$us out of my account for my car hire. i had prepaid petrol so i could take the car back without tank being full. so i have no idea why they took the extra money out of my account as there is no communication or email just a debit from my account for no reason.
