The choice of mid-size SUVs was very limited. The only Ford Escape (my first choice) drove off as we arrived and we were nearly forced to take a Nissan Juke (which I would consider compact rather than mid-size) Fortunately a Jeep was returned while we were searching

When picking up the car I was charged a range of fees that were already covered in the rental agreement and has to question them. I was told they were not covered - such as airport fees, taxes, etc. From my booking they were included. On drop off, I was also charged another $80 of fees for the GPS which was included in the price. I only noticed this after I left as they hurried me out of the car.

This time we used the Alamo self service kiosk at Orlando airport and it was a disaster. All the information we had previolusly given had to be re-entered manually (No scanner as described on US Car Hire web site). The system would not accept our details and we had to queue (along with other US car hire customers who had the same problem). We then had the hard sell from Alamo trying to sell us everything from fuel to satnav. However we will continue to use US Car hire as on our last 4 hires everything has been first class.

The quick service machines were faulty & the customer service from the sales reps were shockingly poor. The rep we dealt with was down right rude & was ignorant to my dad who is hard of hearing, when my dad asked him to repeat something as he hadn't heard properly the rep started to speak to my father as if he were an idiot - very slowly & over pronouncing words. We will use US car hire again & have recommended them to many friends but will not be using Alamo again

Was advised vehicle originally hired would not be sufficient to carry 4 adults and 4 suitcases and had to upgrade. vehicle was brought over and we were left to our own devices to load the car (fair enough) and to work out all the control, lights etc. Operator just moved on to next customer and as it was raining very heavily they were not interested in standing about. From your point of view the actual on-line experience of hiring the car with your company was fine and very easy to do.
