Very good, Using the fast way machine was an experience, after having put all the information on line, then having to do it again was a pain. The vehicle and service from the people on site was very good. May I make a suggestion,WHY NOT HAVE A FAMILY LOYALY ACCOUNT. My family travel to Florida 6 + times a year, we have to hire a vehicle, how good it would be, if I or other members of my family knew that we could contact your company, knowing we would get a loyaly discount on every trip,the more we use your company, the better the deal. In the last 8 weeks, 3 of my family have flown out to Florida, we all use different car hire companies, as we are all looking for a good deal.

The whole experience was excellent as usual. The site is easy to negotiate and follow. Would also like to say a big thank you to Alamo staff. We unfortunately left a set of golf clubs in the car but when we realised the staff were great, assuring us they had been found and locked away until we could pick them up which we did the next day.

- site was very easy to use - price was, by far, the cheapest we found - 'follow up/information' emails were informative and useful - Alamo were very good both at pick-up and drop-off - Free upgrade without asking - Overall a very good experience. Will definitely use both companies again.

Total nightmare! After long flight and nearly 2 hours at passport control, faced with 100 people in Alamo line. All of the other hire desks were empty. Used machine but still took 1 hr as machine not working properly. Then find only car available was a ford flex, a 7 seater gas guzzler. Staff took a take it or leave it attitude. Used Alamo 10-15 times in the past but never again

On the last day of the rental period I couldn't start the car because the key was nog RECOGNIZED (the car had a push-button to start). Since I had to catch my return flight home and Alamo couldn't accomodate me soon enough with a replacing car, I had to go on my own to Miami International Airport, leaving the car behind in front of the hotel in Fort Lauderdale. Alamo agreed with this. The car has been picked up afterwards. So, I didn't have a car on my last day and I had extra expenses to get to the aiport. Since I couldn't get a reduction on my fee, Alamo promised to mail me and send coupons for a $ 100.-- discount on my next hire. I agreed with this.I haven't heard from them yet.

Great service, I have used US car hire previously and will use again. We chose Alamo and I particularly liked the ability to use the kiosk, avoids long queues and avoids having the 'hard sell' from the desk clerks.

The car hire experience with US Car Hire was always first class. However the car supplied by Alamo was less than clean when we collected it. A wipe over with a cloth would not have done the interior any harm.
