Third time using US Car hire. Fantastic communication as always and car from Alamo was great. No pushy selling from the sales agent either. Rental was quick and efficient after using Alamo save time. Would use US Car hire again for future trips without a doubt.

Never had any problems when using US Car HIre. The Gold Inclusive rate is great, and really means that you are not obliged to pay anything else upon picking up your car.

Even full-size SUV was not able to accomodate 4 persons with 4 large and 4 small suitcases..Needed to upgrade to miniVAN, which was quite expensive!

Price appeared to be good,however when I got to pick the vehicle up,i was asked for my credit card as I was the main driver.I was not aware I needed a credit as I had already paid using my wife's credit card,fortunately I had listed my wife as a driver,subsequently had to change to her name as she was only person with a credit card..this should have been made clear when taking original payment..yes I received an email stating this however the email was sent whilst I was in transit..also the pickup address was driftnet on the us hire site to that of the Alamo site..that issue also needs to be addressed

The web site is great, the car was good, however two problems occurred. First, In Miami the automatic machine recognised my booking and took me through a long process to enter all my booking details, etc, etc and then at then end said it could not complete the transaction so I had to get in the long queue to get my car, a time waster. Secondly, the man at the desk was pressuring me to get other cover and showed no interest in actually helping me, no map or advice on how to get out of the airport to key largo. The person I talked to at the quiosk leaving the rental area told me to go on i95 rather than the turnpike. This resulted in huge traffic lines and an unnecessary long drive down to my destination.

First time I rented a car from Alamo. Vehicle was pretty ok - maybe not cleaned perfectly (windscreen) and smelled with cigarettes. Staff in San Francisco was not very helpful. Took initiative only when discussion was about selling extras - making even false statements to encourage purchase. But I was not an easy target. In parking complete mess - nobody informed clearly which car is available for me. Maybe it is obvoius for repeat customers of Alamo, but for a newbe like me it was very confusing.

Bit disappointed that I applied online to use kiosk for collection, spent 10 minutes inputting all information on arrival at airport then machine said "cannot continue please go to desk" which then had a large queue which I would have missed had I not wasted time at kiosk
