We didn't even have that this year! I don't know if it was because fewer people were picking up cars or because Alamo had put more people on the desk but whichever it was we were very greatful for it! The one other thing tht may be useful for some is that the new minivans are slightly higher to stwp into so my 81 year old mum struggled until we found that the plastic box with our cordless drill in acted as a great portable step!

We ordered a full size SUV, and they tried palming us off with a Mid size SUV ,they said we would have to wait that we did and end up satisfied all the bells and whistles on the car..

Garage staff were helpful to point us in the right direction. Tip - the machine allowed my wife to be added as a driver free of charge as she was my spouse.

It was hassle free because we went through US car hire. There was no hassling sales people trying to sell us extras. On our return after our holiday it was straight forward and the Alamo staff were friendly and helpful.

Standard SUV San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on 19 Dec 2014 Customer rating: Customer name: Name withheld by request Vehicle supplied: Dodge Equinox Book a car at this location Used uscarhire a number of times and always been happy. Pickup in San Francisco was fine although as usual the staff at the desk tried to sell additional add ons, extra insurance, satnav and recovery. We visited a few States with below freezing temperatures and the windscreen wash froze which I thought was poor. Vehicle ran fine and only had 6000 on the clock on pickup. Will be using uscarhire on our next trip.

Although full to capacity with fuel as agreed by operative we were initially charged for 1/4 tank. Took 45 minutes to resolve. Poor show!
