Great value and no problems at all with the reservation and pick-up. The only issue is that the car had already many miles and would recommend to take it out of circulation already, but it was in good working conditions and we had no problems with it.

I always get hand controls, and this worked out perfectly once more. The Customer Service is pretty much the best I have experienced amongst all the travel sites I use when planning a vacation. I will use them every time I need a car in the USA. I will add that there is only one thing that I would change. When a one way rental is undertaken, a surcharge is added. This is indicated when booking the car on the website, but it would be nice if a '+ tax' note was added, just as a guide.

Comfy car and although a decent size boot, beware if you have more than two large suitcases as the dimensions will only allow 2 big 'uns to be carried.

Very good from online booking to returning car to airport. The uscarhire paperwork explained everything very well & at the airport Alamo provided an excellent service, we didn't wait long for our car and on return Alamo staff were very helpful.

Picked up Kia Soul at Tampa from intermediate 4 door stock. Returned it following day to Sarasota complaining of fuel/exhaust fumes.Staff assured me it was not a problem, but something to do with new system fitted to Kia.I advised that I owned a Kia and did not accept explanation.Tried the car for a few more hours, then checked with Kia dealer who inspected the engine to find the engine and underside of bonnet covered in petrol.The plastic cover over the engine was not fixed, just lying there loose!! Returned the car to Sarasota and demanded a replacement. Requested similar vehicle with upright seating was advised that the Kia Soul was already 2 grades above my original booking grade !!!!! and that if I wanted an upright seating car I should have booked a S.U.V. After further discussion we were supplied with a Jeep Patriot which we were advised they had to borrow from National.(same car park!!!!) This was quite satisfactory, if very basic.When I asked if they would advise Tampa Airport that our original car choice was left available for selection in an un road worthy, even dangerous condition, I did not receive an answer. Other than the above we were very satisfied with the original collection and return arrangements.

The car excellent... but when I arrived to pickup my car there was NO car... The guy at the floor tried to give me another smaller. When I told him that I paid for one Intermediate he only say "at this moment this is the only I have". I had to wait for a few minutes until some returned one car like I rented. Because I payed 1 week before I suppose that my car will be waiting for me :-(

We had to make some last minute changes to the rental due to my loosing my driving licence so my wife became the named driver. I was added to the rental later when the licence was sent by FEDEX to the USA. USCARHIRE handled the changes brilliantly, kept me informed and all went smoothly when we picked the car up at the airport. We have used these guys for a number of years are competitively priced and manage things so well.
