Very successful rental. We were happy, although there was quite a wait in line at FLL airport. Nissan Cube was excellent, particularly with the good head room for a bigger guy like myself.

The machine was a waste of time,(if u are paying for the fuel) as it lets you get right to the end and then says go to the counter! However the car was really good,quiet comfortable, fast! And the air con was amazing,much better than ours back home,and well needed in the florida heat Would definitely recommend .

The car was good, telephone support good, return very efficent but the queue to start the collection process was a nightmare. Far too many people and too few staff, 90 mminute queue after a 10 hour flight no good for anyone. You must be popular but you need to sort the queue out. the Tool Pass information was isufficent - did not know which Toll companies were actually covered.

the line in the airport for the registration was like 60 minutes, there was just 3 guys for at least 40 consumers

I go to the USA every year. This is by far the best way to book a hire car, even the local rep said it was an amazind deal. I will be back next years, absolutely!!! Thanks.

The whole process was very smooth. Just remember to sign up for the Alamo Save Time and avoid queuing at the desk (no sales pressure either!). Just pick your car - check for dents, show hire details & ID at the exit gate. Simples.

No problem whatsoever when picking up the car or during the hire. Handing it back was as usual quick pleasant and easy. The car ran very well and I was delighted to have been able to hire a VW new Jetta as I am considering buying one here,the fuel consumption was excellent. Overall no problems,but I have never had any problem going through your company as I have, usually twice a year for some years now.

When booking our vehicle the website clearly stated that it was suitable for 5 passengers and 2 suitcases. However when we reached the Alamo desk at Orlando airport we were told that the vehicle would only hold 4 passengers and 1.5 suitcases and were advised to upgrade. To me this appeared to be a scare tactic intended to panic us into paying more money. Fortunately only the 2 of us would be using the car and whatever we got would be sufficient and luckily we were given the choice of the whole parking lot. This however wasn't the case for the other half of our party who, despite having booked, according to the website, "a 7 seater vehicle with space for 5 suitcases" were "forced" into upgrading by a customer services rep who said that the vehicle wouldn't be big enough. The next vehicle up was almost twice as expensive as what had been booked but as they'd been advised that the original vehicle wasn't big enough what choice did they have? As this "upgrading" scam occurred on different days one can only assume that it's a underhand tactic regularly used by Alamo to squeeze even more money out of their customers. This experience certainly put a dampner on the holiday and would stop me from recommending Alamo to others. Apart from this the rest of the service was fine.
