I have used your service for a number of years. I recently changed from using Dollar to Alamo as I was disappointed with the Dollar vehicles but never with the service you provide. Since changing I have been extremely pleased with the vehicles as well as the service which you provide. I have been pressed to upgrade on a couple of occasions at MCO but have always refused. This was the first time I used a pick up at Sandford. Your service was as efficient as ever. Alamo had a choice of mid range and I went for a Ford Fusion. There were only 2 of us so plenty of room. I chose it just to try something different as I usually pick a Dodge. It was an easy comfortable drive and quite good on petrol. I returned it full and there was no charge .I will be using uscarhire next time I go and will recommend it to friends.

Car hire went very smoothly. The only negative thing was that I could not use the express check-in booths as it would not accept two drivers if they were father and daughter as in our case, it would only accept partner or spouse. If this could be rectified it would make things a lot simpler because not all two driver rentals are partner or spouse they could be sister/brother etc.

The service from US Car Hire was excellent, kept informed, all paperwork sent in a timely manner. Alamo, is a different story! straight away on arrival, the agent insisted that i had reserved a 2 dr pontiac,i said there was no way i would book a 2dr, when there were 2 adults and 3 children with cases! he tried to get us to pay $150 to upgrade (to the car i had booked anywyay) after a disagreement with the agent, we took the car,(the 4dr Dodge i had booked) which the next day began flashing warnings at me, i took this to Alomo in Orlando, who took it straight from me and i had to wait an hour for a replacemnt. when i returned the vehicle, with a full tank of gas, Alamo attempted to bill me $50 for fuel! for the first car that i had had... i explained that the car was not fit to be used, so would not pay it.. they did wipe the fee, but their attitude towards customers was horrendous.. I will use US car hire again.. but DEFINATELY WILL NOT use Alamo again.. in my opinion, Alamo is a good name for them, as they seem to have kept a few of the Cowboys from there to work for them!!!

More than perfect. There was no Intermediate 4 door car avaliable so they let me use any SUV-card. Also the return proces went very fast; pick-up process was fast because I did it thru a Alamo rent kiosk

We flew two days late and USCarHire moved our rental back to suit our changed plans - thank you. Alamo were fine and it was just a simple routine to collect the car. Watch out that you are not sold an unnecessary and very expensive upgrade though. They tried to tell us that we needed an SUV to take all of us and I seem to recall that the upgrade would not have been a lot different to actually hiring an SUV as a second vehicle from USCarHire before we travelled. The mid-size Ford focus saloon we selected accommodated four adults comfortably and the 'trunk' accepted our four hold luggage items (just). Dropping the car back was very simple too. Getting used to an automatic gearbox meant a few unplanned emergency stops in the car park before leaving for the highway. We only needed to fill up once on the way back to the ariport, even after a trip to Kennedy and driving all around Orlando.

Our whole experience with Alamo was a disaster and I would not recommend them! Charged my credit card for 2 things even although nothing went wrong during our hire. Money was refunded but the process and humiliation we experienced from start to finish.. We were also told at the start we would have to pay an extra £300 on top of what we had already paid because our 5 seat car was not big enough for 3 people!! I explained we watched a video on the website about the car and was told there was no such thing! I was made out to be a liar.. It was worst experience of our whole holiday and would not use Alamo again. My first ever vacation in USA was marred by this and when I return next year, will not be using Alamo. There is plenty more to choose from who actually believe in offering good customer service!! Not a review I will be expecting to see on your website!!!!!

Car rental was very fast ,efficient and trouble free ...very helpful and friendly on desk and again easy to drop off at airport .. Intermediate car was large enough for four people three large suitcases and holdall bag Car was very clean and comfortable pleasure to drive Would certainly use again and recommend

This is the third time I have used US Car hire in as many years. On all occasions their site has been easy to use and their policies easy to follow and understand. One small gripe this time though. On previous occasions we have selected Budget as the hire company and found them to be great. No queues at the airport, no hard selling etc. This year, Budget does not seem to be one of US car hires partners, so based on the advertised promise of being able to use their 'Fast Track kiosks' we opted for Alamo. Sadly, it seems that the promise of avoiding the queues and the hard selling is just a ploy to get you to use them (alamo, not US Car hire). The 'Fast Track kiosks' amounted to...2..both of which were conveniently out of order. So the fact that I had entered all of my license details etc online to avoid the queues was a complete waste of time as I had to queue for 45 minutes. Just what you want after a 9 hour flight with small children. To add insult to injury, the girl on the desk, when we eventually got to it couldn't care less. No complimentary upgrade, no free tank of gas, no apology, Just a well versed excuse about a power cut the DAY BEFORE. Funny that the rest of their computers re-booted ok.mmmm...Charming. I have my doubts whether the kiosks ever work as 2 weeks later when I returned the car I ducked into the office out of curiosity and guess what...both still out of order. Coincidence? As for the car, well, very disappointed. We had a Ford Focus which despite only having 17k on the clock seemed to have a wheel alignment issue which made highway driving very difficult. Alamos answer, bring it back to the aiport and we'll swap it. Yeah ok, i'll give up another half day of my holiday to Alamo shall I. No, I've driven some bangers in the UK, I'll put up with it. You just don't expect it from a hire car. I chose Alamo PURELY because of the fast track facility and have regretted it from the moment we touched down. Compared to Budget, we got a real bad deal. Now that Budget are no longer available as an option, I would seriously reconsider using US Car Hire in the future.
