About the car itself; everything ok. About the insistence of the Alamo co-workers at the desk where we went to get the car once in Orlando, about taking a supplementary insurance for the hired car; abominable! We had already the Enhanced Roadside Assistance for our rental car and did not need an another. Than the annoying insistence of taking a full tank of fuel, because it would be less expensive than elsewhere they said, which I finally did and what would cost me 45.27 usd + tax and I could bring back empty, the said. I brought the car back, still with more than a half tank of fuel and it cost me 60.94 usd + tax. Can anybody explain this to me, please. And finally another mayor thing; We were on holiday in Florida with our children. My daughter also rented a car with you at Alamo. we went often out with her car, and one day I left the keys of my rental car in her vehicle and did forget to take them out with me once we were back at the villa. The next day she left for 2 days to somewhere else and I was staying at the villa without my keys of the car. Because I had the Enhanced Roadside Assistance for my car, I called the number that is on the voucher (Order nr 47673), to see if they could provide me other keys or another car if this was not possible. I called them several times, because the problem did not get solved. From the first time already that I had Alamo on the line, they said that I did n't have any insurance that covered the fact of lost keys, I have been more than an hour on the line with them to insure them that I have the ERA but they did not believe me, they could not find any trace of this. They insisted that I call the company that provide me this contract, but I did not have any call number of you, so I have not been able to use the car for 2 days. Now, who's to blame for this? Why was this ERA not communicated to Alamo? Otherwise I would of have another car of them, they would have come to pick up this car, I would of been able to return with them to Alamo cars and I would of have another car and everything would have been solved. Please send me some information about this misunderstanding because I'm not yet have a good feeling over this. Again about the full fuel tank; I can send you prove of the agreement that at first they counted me 45.27usd and finally I have to pay 60.94usd and I brought it back with the tank more than half full. Excellent service even though two of the quick service machines were broken it still only took about 5 minutes before having the choice of cars. Excellent service as choice as always with uscarhire.com

An excellent experience. I used the kiosk, and was on the road about 10 mins after entering the Alamo building. Will definitely use again.

I have emailed my observations via the website. My experience wasn't great as although my requirements were made clear on my application for a vehicle and funds were accepted for the booking, on arrival I was notified that the requirements could not be met. This caused both inconvenience and meant that the additional services I had paid for were not available. This was, in my view, unacceptable. The vehicle and the service received was otherwise satisfactory.

Straightforward booking, good value with no unwanted 'extras' good to get a genuinely all inclusive price. Good customer service that helped me to resolve an issue that I had with Alamo. Would certainly use again for car hire in the US.

The automated kiosks did not work when we reached the office on O'Farrell Street so there was more than 30 minutes wait even though I'd registered to use a kiosk. The staff were friendly and helpful and we got on our way happily

Your site was great and Alamo were very good except the pushy staff trying to upsell. They were also convinced that the roadside assistance I bought through US car hire would not be accepted if assistance was needed as Alamo was the car owner. I didn't listen to them but thought you'd want to know. That was particularly the case at O'farrell st in San Fran

The Alamo staff at the car collection point were extremely helpful and courteous. After a long flight from the UK coupled with a delay that entailed diverting to Tampa (bad storms in the Orlando area) and refuelling my family were all quite tired and struggled fitting a baby seat in one of the cars we had hired. The staff were very understanding and helpful which was just what we needed. The 3 cars we hired were all spotlessly clean and operated perfectly for the hire period.

I had problems to get the car. The staff said me I had to do the upgrade. I didn't want the upgrade and the staff said me was impossible get the car I did the reservation. I had to discuss with him so he asked for anothe guy talk with me and with the another guy I hadn't problem to get the car.

Collecting the car was so easy. By the time we got to our accommodation a light had come up on the dashboard - took it back to the airport next again morning to be told to pick any other can in the same size range and bring the car back empty of fuel due to the inconvenience, they could not do enough to help. Would definitely use again.
