We had booked a 7 seater mini-van. Up on arrival to MSP Airport the Alamo guy gave us the option of trying out a large 7-seater SUV with no extra charge. It was GREAT! And we had booked the roadside service from home, which was a good deal.

The website was easy to use and very good explanations. The queue at Orlando airport was long and took about 45 minutes to be seen, (some people in front of me were having difficulties) and there was limited other staff available. The person who saw us was very helpful but the GPS we were given was incomplete with parts missing but thankfully I noticed this as was driving off in the car and the man at the exit barrier was able to rectify this problem. We were offered a choice of 3 vehicles, basically picked the nearest one to us as all looked the same from distance, the one we selected made a terrible noise when doing speeds of 0 - 30 but was OK at higher speeds. I guess I could have changed it if I was so unhappy with it but it was too much hassle to take it back to the airport etc and as long as the car worked I was OK with it.Loved the amount of space the vehicle had, especially with the back seats down as we had so much luggage with us.

ONLY ONE CAR LEFT OF THIS STYLE, CRACKED WINDSCREEN, DAMAGE TO FRONT BUMPER AND OIL CHANGE LIGHT AND NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE TO TELL ABOUT THE ITEMS WHEN HIRING, BUT VERY SIMPLE AND EASY TO HIRE & RETURN CAR

Very quick very easy, however there was nobody to show us all the switches and gadgets for opening the doors or the boot. Apart from that I would choose Alamo again should I travel to America or anywhere in the world, thanks for helping make our holiday fantastic.

I used the 'fast-track' method of collecting my car which was easy to use & a lot quicker than having to go to a desk. I chose my car from a number of vehicles available in the collection area - it was exactly what I ordered. Overall am very impressed with the service received.

Absolutely fabulous! The web site is easy and straight forward. Great prices and no surprise charges when you pick the car up or drop it back. Very efficient at the airport. Plenty of cars to choose from in the selected class and all very clean and ready to go! Excellent service. Would highly recommend to others and will always use in the future! Thank you!

We were encouraged by the attendant to upgrade our car to one with a TV for the children. I did ask if it would be a drop down one & he said no. It would be one that was in the dashboard. I pointed out that they don't usually work when you are driving. He assured us that this one was different, he lied!! We felt conned but it would have taken too much time out of our holiday to go back for a refund at the airport. We have used US car hire for many years but not sure anymore!

The car hire was fine but when I returned home i found out Alamo had taken a further $83 Off my credit card a week before I left without authorisation and for no reason. When I contacted them to complain about this and they could offer no explanation for the charge and agreed to recredit it to my credit card. If I had not of checked my credit card statement I would not of known they had taken this charge and would be out of pocket.
