although I registered all details online beforehand. had to use the main desk as the self service kiosk would not accept my American Express card. had to endure the usual attempts to sell me additional services, which I did not require. It gets a bit irritating after a while. I pity people who don't travel often and are easy targets for the car hire agents.

Overall positive experience, only issue is there is no direct dial-in from the US. The numbers on the site are for the UK only and do not go through. I prefer to be able to speak with someone live when I have a questions versus sending an email and waiting overnight for a response.

The mini-van was ok. However the rental via Alamo kiosk did not go smooth. At the end of the transaction the system bumped me out. I had to go to Customer service for help.

very easy pick up, well worrh pre registering your details wiyh Alamo prior to arrival so that you can take advantage of the spwwdy kiosk points, Alamo desk ques were not yhat long but was still quiker to use the kiosk. Also its easier to refuse the prepaid fuel option, pivk the car up full and refuel before you return. hired 7seater minivan which you get to choose from a long line, i oppted for a top of the line spec, my only critism is that the vehicle had not been fully valeted, there were otheres which had but lower spec models so it was my choose to pick this particular vehicle but not a huge issue for me. Its very important that before you exit the carpark at the barrier you highlight any dents and scratches on the vehicle however small or insignificant they maybe, i learn the hard way a few years back that if you dont highlight at time of pickup then you will be liable when you return the vehicle. returning vehicle to drop off is also easy and hassle free, just make sure you final reciept shows zero balance and your good to go.

Easy process with yourselves, everything was great. Though got basically tricked into upgrading when collecting car at desk, woman explained upgrade as if we were getting it for free and stated we only booked on 3 pieces of luggage when In fact it was six. So be on guard, we got hit with a bill of £269 on top of what we had already paid. No fault though of your service :)

Great service from yourselves. Only problem we had was when collecting car as they kept trying to sell us road side assistance which we had already paid yourselves for. They wouldn't accept this.
