They did find the order after a few minutes. I was told to bring the car back full with gas, which I did, however the additional charges allpied when I brought the car back included a tank of gas. I had this amount refunded. The port shuttle for Alamo does not exist. we went to the parking garage loaded our suitcases into the National/Alamo shuttle, only to be told that they do not go to the airport in Tampa. We walked back to the cruise ship enterance and got a cab.

We had to join a long queue. The Alamo desk at Tampa port only had one operative and was again very slow. Would not use Alamo again from choice.

They though I had booked through virgin holidays, even though I told them I hadn't, and they even gave me someone else's rental details instead of my own. As I walked away I realised this so had to go back. They did try and sell me extras but I told them I didn't need any, and they also offered me an upgrade to a suburban for $300, when I refused they dropped it to $200 but I said thanks, no thanks. Was very tempting though.

Tried to register to use kiosk before leaving England but couldn't get the web site, so had to wait in line for at least three quarters of an hour after a long tedious flight.

I was very disappointed but when i called over the Alamo supervisor he quickly moved me to a far better minivan and i left happy but still amazed the first one was being offered to any customer
