Even though we were happy with our overall experience we were unhappy that the spare key we were given was welded together with the other keys no allowing us to separate the keys as we always do and therefore incurring us a cost when our car self locked and we had to pay for a locksmith to call out to open our car. We should have had the facilities to separate the keys to avoid this from happening

The only issue I have is with Alamo so not sure if it counts. We have used US Care Hire lots of time and will continue to but will not use Alamo again over Dollar. We completed online prior to the trip so we could use their speedy kiosk, what a joke we had several attempts to get it right in the airport but after a 9 hour flight was not in the mood to re-enter every detail again at the kiosk. eventually gave up and joined the massive line noting that there was no queue at Dollar. Alamo never again. The Alamo staff and car were all great.

Overall excellent service from start to finish, friendly and caring staff. I was booked in to use the quick kiosk, however the system wouldn't let me confirm my booking and I had to eventually go to the main desk.

As usual, very easy to book online and the rental procedure went very smoothly as well. The only thing I would say needs a slight amendment is when you are online booking the car, you need a screen just to look at the car details to confirm everything is correct before clicking confirm as you can't quite see all the details beforehand. Very pleased.

This is the third time we have rented a vehicle through US Car Hire at Orlando Airport. We have always used Alamo. The whole experience from start to finish has been great, no hassle on arrival at MCO as everything paid upfront. Would definitely use again and definitely recommend to everyone. The Dodge Grand Caravan was a great choice for our party of 5.

The vehicle was perfect for our needs and we had no problems with it....however the collection process in San Francisco was awful. It took two hours from arrival at the rental centre to actually getting the car. We had to stand in line outside for over an hour before even getting inside the rental office, thankfully it was not raing. When we did get inside we still had to stand in line. So this meant a supposed 10.00am rental start actually began at something like 12.00 noon....which actually impacted upon what we were doing that day. We did not really receive any apology for the delay. I wonder what reaction we would have received if the car had been returned 2.00 hours late.....a charge of an extra days rental, no doubt. We have in the past used Alamo on a regular basis as we travel to Florida a few times each year, but following this most recent experience, I think we may well consider using an alternative rental company in future.
