Having been to Florida before we knew that the hardsell to upgrade would happen so we were prepared, and had a good giggle when the Alamo agent tried to tell us that the Chrysler Town & Country wouldnt take 3 cases & 5 people !!! we could have fit in 6 !

And will do again. Alamo dont seam to take no for an answer, they kept insisting i upgrade, even though i kept saying no and wanted me to pay for a tank of fuel which i had already paid for.

We were immediately directed to a row of vehicles from which we could make our own selection. Drop off the vehicle was similarly fast and straightforward. First class service with Alamo which would not hesitate to use again.

My only comment would be the long distance from the Airport Terminal to the booking office when we have always previously gone straight to the car hire opposite the arrivals exit. On returning I dropped off other passengers with luggage so we would not have this hastle with cases.

Vehicle was only 6 months old and very clean and tidy. Staff where very helpful.

The site is very easy to use and very reliable. Apart from price, we like the fact that we are only directed to leading rental firms and more importantly for us,. we value the fact that we get an insurance packake that suits our needs as travellers to the US and is easy to undertsand. On the one occasion a few years back when we had a problem with a car and we had to contact the US car hire site, they couldn't have been more attentive in getting the problem resolved.

Mini Passenger Van (MVAR) Orlando International Airport (MCO) on 24 May 2013 Customer rating: Customer name: Name withheld by request Vehicle supplied: Chrysler Town & Country Book a car at this location The lady on the service desk at MCO was pretty grumpy, didn't raise a smile at all and although she was efficient,her manner was decidely "couldn't be bothered" particularly when we declined roadside asistance and a larger vehicle. Not what we are accustomed to with Alamo. All other aspects of the booking and hire experience with US car hire went very well.
