When we first bought our villa restaurants on this end of the 192 were quite sparse compared with the other end heading towards downtown Kissimmee. However in the last few years they have been springing up in many locations making us spoilt for choice. This is great for all those heading out to or home from the parks and staying at Formosa Gardens, Lindfields and villas on Highway 27. Remember before you visit the restaurants be sure to look in the many free papers and voucher books available for discount vouchers for your meal.
Angels Seafood and Buffet is one of the first restaurants you get to after Celebration Town. Here they offer an early bird menu usually about $20 you can also buy beer and wine and there is a children’s menu.
Opposite here is Bob Evans and I must admit as yet we have not eaten here. However several guests who have stayed at the villa recommend their breakfasts apparently they have great choice and are large.
Onto all you can eat Ponderosa which is amongst the cheapest of these types of restaurants. Here you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner and children under 5 years of age eat free.
Sizzler is close by and they also are all u can eat and are open all day. Their evening options are good with a great salad bar and several warm dishes. In addition you can add a steak and baked potato to your meal usually for only a couple of dollars. They have a drinks licence.
We like Shoneys for all you can eat breakfast although they may be a dollar or two more than other restaurants. Their lunches are also good value and each evening they have a special themed dinner evenings. They have recently acquired a drinks licence. If you have room after a meal you can always pop next door to Dunkin Doughnuts!
Golden Corral is a great all u can eat restaurant at any time of the day although it is big and can become very noisy. At breakfast you can even choose what omelette you want and it is cooked in front of you. The girls always seem to finish their breakfasts with ice-cream! Lunch and dinner are great meals I love their braised beef and vegetable but there is so much choice a great salad bar, pizzas, and roasts in fact anything you can think of.
Recently opened near Golden Coral is an Indian restaurant the Clay Oven. Good authentic Indian Food be sure to take the buy one get 50% off your entrée vouchers with you.
