Florida Mall - Buy a car?
Every one goes on and on about how much money you can save when shopping in Florida instead of in the UK.
Well it is true, there are many things to buy that can be a great saving. But, there are also savings to be made in the shopping just by choosing the right shops to go to. Oh yes, it is fabulous to go and look at the shops at the Mall at Millenia, but that is all most people can do there – look!
If you go to the factory outlet stores you can often get the same things at very much reduced prices. The one I know best is the Premium Outlets at Lake Buena Vista. It is set out very much like an indoor shopping mall but it is open air. The one of the same name in International Drive is much bigger but so spread out that you need to drive from one section to the other. Not very convenient.
Another place for shopping which is even cheaper still is the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. This is probably one of the smallest and is all open air. Here they have a mixture of “good” shops like Tommy Hilfiger and some very cheap ones. They also have a Disney Outlet Store which sells out of date Disney clothes. So if you don’t mind wearing a Disney Sweatshirt with Disney 2009 emblazoned on the front, you will save a lot of money. They specialise in shoe shops so there is plenty of choice.
There are a lot of stores that specialise in trainers at greatly reduced prices and Denim World stores which as the name says sell cut price Denim. Mind you some of the best bargains in denim are in J. C. Penny stores. There is one at the Florida Mall and one at the Loop plus more popping up all over the place.
Also, you may like to save money on the shopping for food that you need in your villa. Walmart are by far the cheapest overall but recently Aldi have opened a few stores which will beat even Walmart. Having said that though, their stock is a bit limited. If you have heard all about the fantastic facial products that are flying off the shelves at Aldi in the UK, then you can get them even cheaper in the Orlando Aldi’s.
So as well as having a great holiday, you can save money too.
