Resort Indoor Weddings
One of the most elaborate weddings packages in Las Vegas takes place at Bellagio. The resort has two romantic and ornate chapels, these have stained glass windows behind the altar with ornate lamps and amethyst coloured Venetian glass chandeliers. All of this tones in with the pastel shades of the furniture and the flower decorated walkways.
The weddings here are on the upper end of expensive and couples can easily spend $15, 000 for a ceremony that includes every service, such as flower petals that are scattered on to the carpeted aisle. Personalization services are also available for the wedding and reception planning which can tailor the event to your own concept. This can also apply to room reservations as well with these extra services all adding to the bill.
Couples can utilize any of the hotel’s wide variety of standard pre planned wedding packages. One of the more expensive is the CosaBella Wedding Package. This offers spa treatments for the bride and groom, hair and make-up services at the salon, a penthouse suite for two nights, dinner at the five-star Picasso restaurant, and two tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s production, “O”.
Couples can also exchange vows at Planet Hollywood, which was previous known as the Aladdin and it is where Elvis Presley wed Priscilla in 1967. The hotel has two chapels, the largest of which is decorated with arches and columns. It is painted in a palette of desert colours including wall murals and can hold about 50 guests. The smaller chapel is much smaller and can only hold about 10 guests but this is good enough for most people.
At the MGM Grand, you can tie the knot in the Forever Grand chapel. It tries to live up to its name with some chandeliered halls offering a backdrop to the ceremony.
The Wynn Las Vegas has some of the most understated wedding locations in town offering both elegance and style. They are decorated in warm tones with quality fabrics and hand-blown glass chandeliers. The Lavender Salon seats 120, the Lilac Salon has room for 65, and the Primrose Court is an outdoor area for 40 guests.
An indoors with a difference wedding location is the Chapel in the Clouds at Stratosphere hotel. It can be found in the resort’s tower which is 800 ft. / 244m, above the surrounding ground. It claims to be the country’s highest wedding chapel, and gives a breath taking view of the city. At night the bright lights of all the hotels provide a wonderful display while during the day the endless Nevada views are just as good.
If you want more intimate but still memorable package the Graceland Wedding Chapel will stage a quiet, romantic ceremony with an Elvis impersonator handling the services. A white picket fence and a small bridge lead up to the tiny New England church building. Inside, the chapel is decorated with stained-glass windows, burgundy and white walls, and dark brown pews.
