Easy to navigate website with all the info. you need clearly displayed. Competitive pricing with no hidden extras. I've hired around 30 cars from US car hire in the last 10 years and on the couple of odd occasions I've had a small problem, US car hire have been proactive by using their influence to get a speedy and satisfactory resolution from the rental company involved.

We were disappointed that the Alamo fast check-in machines were not working but the staff were great and the all inclusive option we had chosen really was all inclusive so we were processed really quickly. Will use US Car Hire again- best ever in US for us.

The fast track offered when renting within 30 days of the take-up date was not there to be used at Sanford Airport. I hadbooked this to help speed up the booking in process so I was lucky that the booking in line was short at the time of arrival. There is a good selection of model to choose from.

Very easy to book using this site, no hidden extras when you get there. The monorail shuttle from the airport to the car hire desk was great and very easy to find. Once we passed through the desk all you do is take the lift down to the cars and away you go. All in all no problem at all and would recommend it.

It was fine, except that my wife was taken ill, and we had to return to the UK 10 days before our planned date. Unfortunately you were unable to refund or credit the rental period we did not use. Perhaps you should consider this in future, in order to build up customer loyalty

After a 6 hour delay we were going to use Alamo kiosk, but was too tired to bother and used the counter service. Bit of a delay but it was after midnight and not many on counter. All in all, as usual, good service and again confirmation that this is the best car hire web site. Very good car.

Excellent service and speedy process when collecting the car. We chose a Toyota Camry which was an excellent car all round. We didn't really want a cheverolet or Chrysler due to shoddy build quality experienced in the past, so were very pleased to find Toyota's there!.

We could not fault our experience. Speedy collection of vehicle and told to go and choose which car we would like. We filled in all necessary details online which facilitated a very quick collection on arrival at Sanford airport.

Everything went very well, fast service at the rental booth and the car was great. The price was also really good, went for the silver package and it included everything that I needed and also a free extra driver.

Our rentals twice each year with Alamo are 6 weeks each time and usually fairly good.I would however like to have a rental for 6 weeks which did not breakdown and have to be exchanged.Further and rather irritating is that I book with you for 6 weeks yet have to return car to Alamo after 4 weeks as that is longest they do which disrupts our stay.Alamo normally make amends but its really disappointing that you and Alamo cannot get your act together.John Stuart Russell

The usual great service from Alamo,had to wait a few minutes while another customer had a queery dealt with.Staff in Grand Rapids courteous and friendly.Reserved a jeep cherokee but got a free upgrade to a suburban with the proviso that if we did not like it we could exchange at a later date.Many thanks.

I have used USCar Hire for my last 2 visits to the USA and have always found them to be competitive and hassle free. As a result I have and always will recommend them to other friends and family. Unfortunately Alamo were a disappointment this time, trying the hard sell and even attempting to hide $350 of additional charges for Personal Accident Insurance, despite us having paid in advance. I refused to pay the additional and they amended the paperwork, however on returning the car, the charges had been reapplied and they attempted to charge my credit card with another $185. Again I went to the desk and complained, with the charge being refunded, however I'm not happy that they attempted to sneak through additional charges on 2 occasions. As previously stated, I will definately use US Car Hire again, but next time will choose a different car hire operator from Alamo.

Not a car with much street cred, but with 3 adults, a baby, lots of luggage and a buggy and you don't want to drive an SUV then the Crown Vic is ideal. Alamo staff were very helpful and even brought an alternative car round for us to compare boot size for all our luggage.
