Standard SUV (SFAR) Newark - Liberty International Airport (New Jersey) (EWR) on 02 May 2015 Customer rating: Customer name: Name withheld by request Vehicle supplied: Traverse LT Book a car at this location As always, the car rental process was smooth and everything went according to what I planned and expected. I upgraded from a standard SUV to a Traverse (a 7-seat SUV, “Full size” I believe) for around USD 150 more for the 8 days, since I was going to travel all the way from New Jersey to Florida. I also paid USD 300 to deliver the car at a different rental office, which is much lower than what you usually pay in other rental sites. To sum it up, I'll surely keep using uscarhire as I've been for many years now!

On collection at airport even though we had booked an economy 4 door we were advised this was not big enough for 2 people and 2 cases, we felt pressured into up grading to an intermediate 4 door at an extra cost of $253 . We found this upgrade to be far bigger than we needed and our original booking would have been adequate. When arriving after a 9 hour flight we felt we had been taken advantage of and $253 would have been better spent elsewhere.

I think we over paid for the car we actually took though. We booked for luxury but ended up with a dodge challenger, so not sure if that was part of the same peer group. In any event, the car was great. No nonsense dropping the car off. Would definitely use National and US Car Hire again.
