Hire Options and Insurances
Our car hire includes items such as insurance, taxes and surcharges with the
exception of Personal Insurance which should already be included in your own
travel insurance. This means there are no extras to pay when you pick up the car
(other than underage charges, and a tank of fuel if on the Silver Inclusive
option with Dollar or Alamo)
We offer two fully inclusive packages. Note, there are some slight differences for Prestige Cars and Canadian bookings, but any differences are highlighted on the appropriate booking pages for these.
For USA Bookings
- 1 or 2 Drivers depending on the car hire company you choose (contact us for
details).
- Rental with unlimited mileage
- Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) / Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - This covers damage to the car
- Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) up to $1M cover - This covers damage and injuries to 3rd Parties
- Uninsured / Under-insured Motorist Protection (UMP) - This covers the eventuality that an uninsured driver is involved in an incident with you.
- All taxes and airport fees
- You pay for a tank of fuel on arrival. The tank will be full on collection and you return empty. See note below for important information on fuel charges.

All our car hire is fully inclusive - you have nothing to pay on arrival (except for the tank of gas for the Silver Inclusive
option with Dollar and Alamo).
* In downtown Manhattan locations, the Gold option with Alamo and National
does not include the cost of the initial tank of gas.
On the Silver Option, what is the approx cost of a tank of fuel?
- This can vary depending on the size of
car, and the current average cost of fuel on the day. Alamo and National charge the
actual fuel cost at the time charged, whereas Dollar mark up the fuel cost,
sometimes to around double the pump price.
The information below applies to bookings made though many other rental companies or most fly-drive packages (we include all the fees listed below in our price)

This can have a substantial effect on the cost of your car hire, meaning you can be paying up to £300 to £500 extra on arrival for a 14 night stay! If you book our fully inclusive car hire these additional expenses are automatically included and you will be required to pay nothing extra on arrival.
