The sales person was very pushy for me to take the additional breakdown cover and stressed that only Alamo were allowed to change tyres etc,no one else. As on previous car hires the boot room is never big enough and cases have to be put on the back seat. But the car was excellent ,well presented and very clean

Registered with Alamo to use their kiosks. Went to use said kiosk and thru all the rigmarole of entering all the required info, only for the booth printout to fail. Trying to re-enter all the info was rejected with the message to the effect you've already registered, so go away.. Had to go to booth in car park and get it sorted.. instead of a 5 minute exercise, it took over 25 mins

After a scan of my drivers license and replying to a lot of questions on the screen a contract was printed. We walked to the cars and choose one of the selection presented. At the exit a final check of car, contract and drivers license and off we went to our destination. The whole process took less than half an hour.

I thought the piece of mind additional insurance was good value. Thankfully it was not required. Alamo were very good. I would certainly use this relationship again.
