Where to Shop in Florida Part 4 - Orlando / Florida Guide

Florida Guide > Shopping

If you want to do some window shopping as well as shop in some of your favourite shops the Mall at Millenia is the place to go. It is situated at Millennia Boulevard just off Conroy Road in fact it is easy to see from the I4.

There really are some very expensive shops here including Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Jimmy Choo shoes which really are to die for.

However there also Macys and Bloomingdales Department stores as well as old favourites like Gap, Forever 21, Banana Republic, Nine West and the Apple store.

If you want lunch when you are here try the Cheesecake Factory which has a lovely atmosphere as well as a children’s menu. To finish your lunch you have over 30 cheesecakes to choose from.

Posner Park is a good shopping centre for visitors staying on the 27 it is located just near the I4 junction. It has only been open a few years and is not as busy as some other shopping areas.

We like to go to JC Penneys here as they have great sales items at all times. Michaels is a lovely store with all kinds of craft materials and we have got quite a few of their dried flower arrangements at our villa.

My Father always takes a book when we go here and goes for a coffee whilst we go Ross Dress for Less as we are likely to be some time! It can be a very busy store and you may have to queue for some time to pay but there are fantastic bargains to be had you just have to be very patient going through such a vast array of stock. I do not think my Mother has ever left this store without buying a handbag. Senior citizens also get a 10% discount every Tuesday.

If you like Ross Dress for Less there is another one at The Loop which is another shopping complex we enjoy. It is located at the junction of the Osceola and John Young Parkway and is open 10. 00am to 9. 30pm Monday to Saturday and has slightly shorter opening times on Sundays 11. 00am to 6. 00pm.

There are two shopping areas The Loop and Loop West. There is a 16 seater cinema here and our girls and my Father often go there while Mother and I go shopping. We enjoy browsing in Kohls department store as well as JC Penneys and TJ Maxx and we always seem to buy something at the Yankee Candle shop.

We have yet to eat there but friends of ours have recommended Johnny Rockets a 50s Diner complete with juke boxes.
