Recently booked a car rental through uscarhire for Omaha Nebraska and after renting cars in the USA for many years I couldn’t believe how smoothly everything went from the initial booking to collecting the car at the Alamo desk.

No pressure there after a long flight as everything I needed was included and I have always liked Alamo anyway.

The vehicle was clean and well presented and I had a choice of three vehicles.

Compared to our last visit when we rented with Avis through British Airways at Chicago O Hare when the vehicle was high mileage, dirty and they tried to charge me for things I wasn’t even offered when collecting so I will never uses them again.

This time when booking I did take the optional cover for windscreen and tyre damage for about three dollars a day which I thought was a fair price.

I can thoroughly recommend uscarhire for their honest, easy to understand charges with NO hidden costs.

Picked up the Ford Mustang no issues, just be wary of luggage as only 2 medium sized cases will fit in the boot. After the first night the back window didn‚t close properly so just took back the next day and Alamo replaced it without any questions. Used before and will definitely use again for the next trip!
