Visiting Florida for the first time can seem quite daunting.
There are many choices of accommodation to start with there are hotels and villas for rent.
On this site all the villas are verified so you know when you book one of these villas you are in safe hands, you book with the owner and can speak to them in person getting all the help and tips you need and will answer all you questions truthfully
The other thing you will need is a car whilst you can get around on other transport it would be more restrictive. I know most people may not like to drive in Florida but it is easier than at home in the UK and again the prices that Orlando villa car hire prices are very good
We have been visiting Florida since 1986 and still find new things to do and see.
Disney World has 4 main theme parks all needing at least a day each some needing much more . Disney has also got two water parks Typhoon lagoon and Blizzard beach
We also like to look around some of the hotels as they have very good restaurants in them.
The other Theme parks are Sea world and their new water park Aquatica. Sea world puts on many shows with the marine life and is very entertaining, they also do much sea life conservation
The water park Aquatica has many water rides and a big glass enclosed slide, lots of fun you can also swim with the dolphins; this is an additional charge though.
Universal studios also has two parks each taking a day to get around Islands of adventure is the newest of universals parks and houses the Harry Potter themed area

The other of Universals Park has some great rides and shows Beetle juice show is our favourite
One other theme park is Busch Gardens this is not in the Orlando area but near to Tampa about a 50 minute drive. This is well worth the drive over if you like the big thrill rides they also have a wild life area that emulates the Serengeti plains , here you can go on a tour of the area and it is included in the price.
If you fancy a day at the beach the gulf coast is only about one and a half hours away and on the other side is the Atlantic coast (cocoa beach) this is only about one hour away and the nearest to Orlando
If you are lucky when you are in Florida and get over to the space coast you may well be there when a launch is happening and get a first had view of it
There are many things to see and do so just take the plunge and try it, if you are like most people the “Trip of a lifetime” turns into a repeat holiday destination
