The Old Fish Restaurant is in Cocoa Beach Causeway and is a simple unpreposessing restaurant with a tasty menu at reasonable prices.
This is the home of the ' all you can eat Blue Crab' feast. This costs $28 per person and comes with corn fritters and 2 side dishes.
Also on the all you can eat menu is Fried Clam ($16) Mahi Mahi($21)and fried shrimp ($26)
Personally, I am not a great fan of ' all you can eat' menus so my choice is ' The Old Fish house Feast' This a sampler platter of rock shrimp, clam strips, fried shrimp, fried fish and steamed shrimp which costs a modest $18.
There is a similar platter that is grilled instead of fried, but hey, you are eating out and who really wants griiled?
Southern Feast is a macho feast of bbq pork ribs, chickem wings and cajun catfish strips. Alongside this comes corn on the cob, potato salad, coleslaw and corn fritters. The price for this platter is $18.
Meat lovers can fill their boots with a giant steak. A 10 ounce sirloin steak costs $14. 95 or a T Bone for $21. 95. These come with 2 sides; chose from chips, rice cole slaw, salad or corn on the cob.
Vegetarians (as usual) have very little to choose from I am afraid, but there is a mushroom and tomato pasta or vegetables with pesto for $7.
If you still have any room after all that there is a selection of home made puds. Choose from chocolate or carrot cake, key lime pie (natch) or cheesecake. These cost $5. 99 and you can add ice cream for a dollar.
Maybe you just want a quick snack and if this is the case you will be catered for as well. Home made soup, salad and fresh rolls cost $5. 99 or there are a variety of sandwiches on offer. fish, mahi mahi, hamburger, chicken or my favourite crab cake. These come served with sides and cost $6 to $8. 50. Children have a little more to chose from than the regulation chicken nuggets or sausages. Here they can tuck into corn dog, clam strips, shrimp or fish and chips; along with these tempting dishes come a potato dish, a drink, some candy and a surprise.
