As everyone knows, for Cinderella it all started with shoes, or a single glass slipper if my memory serves me correctly!
Orlando is the perfect place for shoe shopping so wether your name is Imelda Marcos, Carrie Bradshaw or Victoria Beckham, wether you prefer Jimmy Choos and Christian Louboutin' s to Crocs and Ugg boots, there is something for everyone. So, if no one minds let' s start at the high end. If shoes are your absolute passion and money is no object why not visit The Mall at Millenia, an upscale shopping mall just off exit 78 of interstate4 at Conroy rd. Here you will find Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci and Burberry to name but a few, all carrying the latest, up to the minute designs for both men and women at prices that would leave a severe dent in your holiday finances. In addition to the individual stores the department stores here, Bloomingdales, Macy' s, and Neimann Marcus, all carry shoes from high end designers including the American designer Coach.
Whilst at The Mall of Millenia if you are not aiming to spend big bucks, but nevertheless want good quality shoes in this seasons designs try Aerosoles or Aldo who both stock comfortable quality shoe, not lacking in the design stakes. Theses are only a few of the many shoe stores on offer and a visit to the mall will surely help you find your own.
The Florida Mall is probably a better bet for someone with slightly more limited resources. here you can find well known names such as Nine West, Bakers, Clarks and Sperry Topsiders who will offer anything from toe crunching stilettos to ballerina flats and beach ready flip flops.
The footwear favoured in the theme parks is definitely trainers ( sneakers) and there is no shortage of stores in The Florida Mall waiting to fit you out with such footwear. Footlocker and Lady Footlocker along with Skechers, Adidas and several more, offer a huge variety of this seasons sports shoes across a whole range of prices, but if you are looking for a bargain within the mall, try the Payless Shoe Source.
This list of stores within The Florida Mall is my no means exhaustive but merely a taste of what is available, here you will be unlikely to find shoes that are at outlet prices as they are mostly current season, but neither will you pay the prices of the designer shoe stores at The Mall of Millenia.
