Shoe shopping and bargain hunting comes in to it' s own at the outlet centres. Stores such as Nine West carry huge stocks of sandals in summer and boots in winter plus regular smart and casual shoes all year round, often offered at buy one get one half price. This same offer is often seen repeated in stores such as Aerosoles and Rack Room shoes. If you don' t need two pairs yourself you can always team up with a friend or family member and share the saving.
Rack Room shoes and Famous Factory Brands sell just that, shoe manufacturers you will have heard the name of such as Nike, Timberland, Polo Ralph Lauren and Skechers. These will be end of ranges or last seasons designs and may not always be available in every size and colour. however, it is worth a rummage as there are some great bargains to be had.
Look at the feet of any Brit on your returning flight to the Uk and a large proportion of them will be sporting bright, white trainers in nearly new condition. Reebok, Adidas, Nike and Puma all have outlet stores as well as regular stores in the big malls, and carry huge supplies of sports footwear often with the buy one get one half price offerer attached.
As well as having rows of shelves housing boxes of sports shoes at Bargain prices, for an even greater bargain head to the clearance section that you will usually find at the back of the store. Here the greatest bargains of all can be found and as a parent of a son with UK size 14 feet, it is one of the few places I can find him a pair of trainers.
The big winter fashion in the UK is Ugg boots but surely not in the warmer climes of Florida you may ask, but even paying full store price, purchasing them in the US is a much cheaper option. You will find a good selection of the latest colours and styles in Nordstroms (availability may vary across the seasons) where they sell not only boots but slippers and Ugg sandals as well. Journeys within the Florida Mall sells Ugg boots as does it' s outlet store ar Premium Outlets Vineland Ave. Ugg has it' s own outlet store at Premium outlets International Drive where a selection of men' s and children' s Uggs, as well as women' s are also available.
Summer trends both in the UK and the US will find Crocs heavily featured. Every style and colour combination can be found with prices varying. The higher end is to be paid in the regular Crocs stores and shoe sections within department stores and, yes you' ve guessed it, Crocs have their own outlet stores at Buena Vista Outlets and both Premium outlet locations.
Walmart carries everything - shoes are not to be left out! Here you will not find designer shoes or trainers but cheap and cheerful alternatives to pick up with your other shopping. Very comfortable flip flops and bedroom slippers have been purchased here in our own experience.
Men are also well catered for throughout Orlando and specialist shops for golf shoes, walking shoes and work boots are easy to find. Probably one of the favourite stores for men is Timberland found both in the malls and in the outlets. Timberland boots and shoes are often carried in Rack Room and Famous Factory Brand Shoes as well. As mentioned previously, Orlando is a great place to shop for shoes for men with oversized feet.
Your little ones feet are not neglected and you can find everything from princess style slippers, trainers with flashing lights, to Converse pumps starting at three months of age.
As you can see Orlando can offer huge choices when shopping for shoes, so leave some room in your suitcase and remember ladies - a girl can never have too many pairs of shoes! !
