Disney World ranks as one of the most popular destinations in the USA and for a very good reason. It provides sensational attractions for every age, has a customer service second to none and more than lives up to it' s nickname of ' The Happiest Place on Earth'
So, with all this in mind, it' s no wonder that thousands of people return year after year. A few simple tricks will help you make your stay even more memorable.
Don' t try to squeeze too much in, it would be impossible to see and do everything during the average family vacation. Whatever you miss just gives you the perfect excuse to come back again! If you attempt to do it all, you may end up exhausted needing a holiday to get over your trip.
Plan well in advance and ask the whole family to make a list of the things they want to see and do. Take the list to the parks with you and do them first, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time to take in the sights and surprises that are just around every corner.
Get to the parks as early as you can. We know you are on holiday and may cherish that lie in, but thousands of people head to the parks around noon, so try and beat the rush. If you can get to the parks when they open, you will beat the crowds and the heat of the afternoon and you' ll avoid those long lines.
Getting to the parks early enough will also give you the freedom to take a break during the afternoon. Whether you are staying in a villa with it' s own private pool or a condo on a resort with a community pool, take the time in the afternoon to head back to your holiday home from home and recharge your batteries. Most of the villa communities are located close enough to Disney to enable you to do this, so make the most of it and have some precious downtime at home too. If your holiday is long enough then do try and take a full day off from the parks to just relax and spend some quality time with your loved ones.
Make the most of the Fast Pass system, it can be a huge help especially on the most popular attractions such as Soarin' and Test Track. Go to your favourite attraction as soon as you enter the park and get your Fast Pass as early as you can. You can then take your time to see other things at a more relaxed pace until your ' time slot' on your Fast Pass.
