Recently the Panera Bread chain has arrived in the Kissimmee area.
Panera Bread is described as a bakery cafe, they offer an wholesome alternative to breakfast and lunch. The shop is very well laid out like a traditional bakery so you see what you are buying before you buy - it all looks very appetising!

Bakery items:
freshly baked breads: Country, Stone-Milled Rye, Three Cheese, Focaccia, Whole Grain, French, Sesame Semolina, Three Seed, Ciabatta. They also have Specialty Breads: Asiago Cheese, Sourdough, Tomato Basil, White Whole Grain, Honey Wheat, Cinnamon Raisin , French and Sunflower
bagels (baked fresh every morning): Asiago Cheese, Cinnamon Crunch, Dutch Apple & Raisin, French Toast, Plain, Whole Grain, Blueberry, Cranberry Walnut, Everything, Mochachip Swirl, Banana Pecan and Sesame

The kids menu is very healthy, all of the items are served with a squeezable organic yogurt:
Grilled Cheese: organic American cheese on White Whole Grain bread.
Kid's Deli: Organic American cheese & a choice of roast beef, smoked ham or smoked turkey on White Whole Grain bread.
Peanut Butter & Jelly: All-natural peanut butter with grape jelly on White Whole Grain bread.
Pantry items: dipping sauces and oils for bread, salad dressings (balsamic vinaigrette, Greek salad) and whole bean coffee which you can take home.
Seasonal items are also on offer throughout the year and also a range of low fat options. For example in March they are offering Irish Soda Bread and Hot Cross Buns.
You can eat in or take away. Once you have paid for your food they hand you a buzzer which will then go off when your food is ready so proof that all the food is freshly prepared.
We like the idea that you can have You Pick Two, which means you can choose two of the following: soup, half sandwich, or half salad. I love their cream of chicken and wild rice soup and Asian sesame chicken salad
Highly reccommended for all the family (they offer a kids menu), whether it is for a little snack or a wholesome lunch. It can get very busy but service is very quick
Locations: At the Loop shopping centre and on the road into Premium Outlets on the right hand side.
