There are some important differences between car hire in Canada and car hire in the USA:
- One hire option (Silver)
- Lead driver plus spouse or partner can drive
- Additional drivers are extra (payable locally)
- Pay for a tank of gas on collection and return car empty
Rates include:
- Unlimited mileage
- PDW (physical damage waiver, same as LDW/CDW)
- Road tax
- Vehicle licensing fee
- Premium location surcharge
- Insurance Excess Waiver now included free of charge
Rates do not include (payable locally):
- Additional driver (C$10 per day)
- Under 25 surcharge (C$25 per day, min age 21)
- Child seat (C$10 per day)
- Ski racks (C$10 per day)
- Fuel
- Optional Personal Accident Insurance (C$5 per day). This should already be included in your Travel Insurance.
- For pick-ups from Calgary add C$4.00 per day
- For pick-ups from Montreal add C$0.70 per day
- For pick-ups from all British Columbia locations add approx C$1.70 per day
- 1-way fees when collecting and returning to different locations
Local charges are current prices and may change and are subject to tax. |
